Meet the federal riding of Niagara Fall’s Conservative Member of Parliament, the Honourable Rob Nicholson.
Rob was born and raised in the City of Niagara Falls and has lived and worked in the riding for his entire life. Rob has long been loyal, dedicated, and committed to supporting and advancing the Conservative movement at home and across Canada.
In 1984 and 1988, Rob Nicholson was elected to Ottawa as the Progressive Conservative candidate. In 2004, the year following the establishment of the Conservative Party of Canada, Rob represented the Conservatives on the ballot. He was elected once again to represent the riding in the House of Commons in our Nation’s Capital. Rob has been re-elected in 2006, 2008, 2011, and 2015.
Rob Nicholson proudly serves the federal riding of Niagara Falls as its Member of Parliament. He has and continues to invest tremendously in the City of Niagara Falls as well as towns across the riding, including Niagara-On-The-Lake and Fort Erie. Rob speaks out and stands up for his constituents as their federal representative and demonstrates strong leadership in the House of Commons.
In addition to his responsibilities as a Member of Parliament, Rob has held ministerial roles in a wide range of portfolios throughout his career. At different times, Rob has been the Minister of Science, Minister of Small Business, Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, Minister of Justice, Minister of National Defense, and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Currently as a Conservative Member of Parliament in Her Majesty’s Official Opposition, Rob holds the Justin Trudeau Liberals to account as the Justice Critic in the Opposition’s Shadow Cabinet.
The federal riding of Niagara Falls is very fortunate to have Rob Nicholson as their Member of Parliament. Conservatives are especially proud.
